Tay Oz moved to the Dominican Republic with his parents and brother in 1999, from London, England. At the age of 15 he began to speak Spanish and by his 17th birthday was fluent.
Tay has worked in real estate in The Dominican Republic since the age of 19, he was once told he was the best customer service agent ever by an individual who had been involved in over 1 billion dollars worth of real estate transactions in the USA.
Tay has forged numerous real friendships with clients during his 15-year career, his strongest traits are his no-nonsense attitude, and friendly personality. He appeared in an episode of House Hunters International while working with a previous company in 2011.
Mr. Oz also spent almost 3 years as Vice President of a well-renowned development on the north coast. His passions include Liverpool Football Club, Scuba Diving, Tennis, Golf and cooking, he graduated from INFI (Instituto Nacional de Formacion Inmobiliaria) in 2004.
Phil left England in 1990 to begin an overseas career in travel and tourism, starting his journey working in Portugal, Andorra and The Gambia. In 1993 he was sent to The Dominican Republic to set up operations for First Choice Holidays where Phil eventually became Regional Manager for The Caribbean and Mexico. Feeling the need for a new challenge, Phil moved on to become one of the founding partners of a company known as Outback Adventures, a well established adventure tour company with operations throughout the Dominican Republic.
Over the past 27 years, Phil has been very fortunate to travel extensively throughout the Caribbean during which time he came to realize that the north coast of the Dominican Republic was not only an amazing place to live, but that it was also the best piece of real estate in the Caribbean, the reasons for which he will be more than happy to share with you once you meet him. Phil is extremely passionate about quality, service and helping to create magical life changing experiences through innovation and attention to detail. These are the core values which are still firmly ingrained within him today, happy and delighted customers are definitely what make him tick.
You may see Phil from time to time playing guitar in several of the bars and restaurants here in Puerto Plata, Sosua or Cabarete, so please feel free to hit him up for a request if you see him. He also enjoys playing golf, tennis and has recently taken up scuba diving. For his sins he is an avid supporter of Manchester United which perhaps accounts for his abundance of grey hair these days.
