Going to the Dentist

Going to the dentist: One thing I always say about living here in The Dominican Republic is that you’re never far away from a smile. As you travel around the island you’ll notice that this is true. For the most part you’ll see beautiful radiant and genuine smiles. It has to be said that the people here really do have beautiful teeth, and whether that’s down to to good dental hygiene or genetics is another matter. The fact is that good dental care doesn’t just end with a smile, but it can affect the health of your entire body. The other obvious advantage is that it’s so much easier to smile and feel confident about yourself when you are blessed with good, clean, healthy teeth.

In The Dominican Republic, dental health care is readily accessible, affordable and first class. In my home country less so, it’s not so readily available and costs a fortune. This is why many people deal only with the day to day aspect of dental health care, instead of going one step further and getting really proactive with any issues you might have, as well as taking the time to deal with the cosmetic aspect of your dental health care.

More and more people are choosing to combine vacations with the opportunity to have dental work done, chances are what you save will pay for your vacation which is why dental tourism is on the up and up. The good news is you get to do your own research and select the dentist you feel most confident with, and the one you have the best rapport with. I can only speak from personal experience, previously in my country of origin, visiting the dentist was an absolute chore. filled with awe and dread. Here in The Dominican republic, it’s like going to see an old friend. Having good strong healthy teeth does so much to boost your confidence and improve your general overall health, so if you’re looking for that once evasive film star smile, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll feel a million dollars, I guarantee it.
