Ordering online: Living overseas years ago occasionally had it’s downsides which generally was a hankering for something special from home, with me it was English tea or Heinz Baked Beans or a certain kind of British snack. Back in those days, you either had to wait for someone to come and visit, or wait until you went home to gorge yourself on those special treats and generally put a few pounds on in the process.

Of course we live in a different world these days, a world where everything is accessible and at your fingertips even in the most remote and farthest flung corner of the planet. So getting hold of those things that you need to make your world complete are pretty simple in this day and age, even down here in The Caribbean.

The process is quite simple, all you need to do is open an account with a local courier who will provide you with a postal address in the U.S. so obviously whatever you order online is shipped to that stateside address and then is shipped to your courier here in The Dominican Republic.
