Vitamin D is also known as “the sunshine vitamin” and research suggests that it helps reduce your risk of catching flu, reduces the chance of heart disease, and the risk of contracting multiple sclerosis. Vitamin D also reduces stress and anxiety in addition to promoting weight loss, which of course surfing does anyway. For a full and complete overview of the benefits of surfing, please click here.
